We're gradually becoming a tourist destination for our plays (Red Door Threatre) and
our Tour of Historical Homes not to mention our Field Dog Trials with numerous upscale Hunting Lodges. In late 2011 ghost hunters came to town and found activity in several of our older buildings. We are looking forward to the increased growth in tourism -- to now include Ghost tours!
You can travel here from Montgomery, Auburn, Opelika, Troy, Eufaula, Tuskegee or Columbus ,
Georgia in 60 minutes or less. Montgomery is only 35 minutes to the East Side which has
shopping, upscale restaurants and entertainment!

built in 1871. Just behind this historic structure is our renovated 1897 Pauly Jail Museum -
one of the oldest in the state equipped with gallows and trap door! Union Springs is the
Bird Dog Field Trial Capital of the World and we have the statue to prove it!
